Last night was the best. Thai green vege curry. Others were pretty poor. Salad that the doc said don’t eat or steamed frozen vege. Off to Etosha national park for the next week 🤞

Great until yesterday. Slipped over on a wet jetty and have hurt my same knee. But a different spot. We have 2 retired docs and a retired nurse on the trip so lots of help.

Greetings, I have been in the Namib desert, Namibia for the last 2days. Amazing place, one of the oldest deserts in the world. Climbing sand dunes and looking at dead forests thousands of years old.

#TapirTuesday was also a #TapirTwofer as Bananas visited me after this female who seems to be lactating. She was very pregnant in February and the gossip in the neighborhood is that she has her calf.

Let's hope she brings her baby to visit!

We're in the middle of the peak migration time for bald eagles here along the south basin of Lake Winnipeg. While some stick around into winter, most head south. Ours have been tracked to the upper Mississippi river. I saw many perched along the shore looking for easy fish from the fishermen. #birds
