Yesterday’s sunrise was rather good. Long day visiting the prehistoric cave paintings at Lascaux which are quite extraordinary.
Off to Bergerac today for a wander round the market and a good lunch with a frogmarch round the garden this afternoon!

#morningwalk ☀️☀️ yesterday afternoon. Arrived home from our week away at Bathurst race track. It is hot and dry so had to water my vegies straight away. So many fires here atm the setting sun and rising moon were red from the smoke.

We're off to the #allotment tomorrow, our Happy Place. To tend some plants 🌱, to harvest and to chill.

Our vegetable garden, plots 33(L) and 34(R). Our happy place, twice a week. A central path punctuates the plots, a tap for watering and some greenhouses and sheds.

EU cattle farmers are whining about veggie burgers, but as this recent study explains, eating less meat and more vegetables is both good for humans and good for the planet.

The recommendations are pretty much what I started earlier this year.

Recently I learned of floating candles. I just love them. I got this jar at the Dollar Store put some water in it and dropped the candles in. The candles automatically light when they hit the water. It’s magical.
