I am digging this fascinating experiment in the digital #art world: an app called Minutiae

it’s widely considered an "anti-social media" project designed to break the cycle of curated, "perfect" digital lives.
I would have to be a solo Olympian I could not deal with we worked four years for this moment and then I screwed up and cost us a medal

I’m so excited we have space movies on the way! Ryan Gosling in space, sign me up! Steven Spielberg has space coming to earth again, sign me up!

All in all is all we all are

Don’t believe the hype

The world is yours

Say it loud: I'm black and I'm proud

All you need is love

You can’t always get what you want

Breathe, breathe in the air
What’s the best song lyric in history?

Vermont-born Norwegian skier Atle Lie McGrath heads into the final run of the slalom with a massive half-second lead, but misses one of the first gates, hurls his poles as far as he can, and lies down off to the side of the course

This is the guy I was talking about

Oh my God, this skier guy that missed the gate and won’t even come off the mountain and just laying there in the snow is breaking my heart

I wrote about the cowardly lions of corporate America under Trump and their decades-long push to shape the country’s political life and democracy, no matter their protestations to the contrary now. Gift link: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Trump has exposed an ugly truth about corporations: They’re no longer even pretending to be good citizens.

My late Irish Catholic mother would be so amused at the elevation of the Irish to founding status!
This odious white supremacist needs to learn some history.

Not so long ago, it was common to see "Irish need not apply" in job listings in the United States. You know, the same type of pernicious prejudice that Elon exhibits regularly.

So many stories about him being an out of control drunk I would need several posts to cover them all, Rolling Stone did a long one in 2023, the New York Times did a long one in 2017, the New York post writes about his drinking whenever they get bored.
Reminds me of that story Tina Fey told about Amy Poehler and Fallon. I havent trusted him since.

Kid Rock’s first album (forgive me) was a good record - anyway one of the cuts on it is “black chick white guy” I wonder if any of the MAGAs are familiar with that track. I suppose he’s not performing it much these days.
today i found out kid rock son is black and agam too 🤣🤣🤣 the jokes really do write themselves

As of today, Voyager 1 is zipping through interstellar space, moving away from us at about 38,000 mph. It’s approx 15.8 billion miles away right now.
Despite being nearly 50 years old and running on technology that makes a 1990s calculator look like a supercomputer, it's still "talking" to us!
[October 21st, 1980] Voyager 1 will fly by Saturn in November, capturing thousands of images and data before leaving the solar system. It will closely examine Titan, Saturn’s largest moon, which has a thick atmosphere and may hold secrets about potential life.

The Love Boat is amazing. It was a pandemic watch for me and there are very few writers who could work in that format. (3 stories, cast regulars + guest stars, 3 tones, everything resolved in 45 minutes).
As Valentine's Day approaches, I have a confession.
I recently started watching "The Love Boat" from the beginning. I'd never seen a single episode before and I don't just like it, I love it.

This show has everything! 1/3

Not really - they assume they are so adjacent to whiteness and male supremacy that wherever happens to their husband is more material than what happens to themselves and they particularly like sticking it to liberal women who they feel are living indictments of their choices
Conservative white women have been a pretty consistent MAGA voting bloc; might be a bit of a surprise for them

It is incredible to watch the skaters skate a program that they’ve skated hundreds and hundreds of times flawlessly and then come out and fall. You know that it’s 100% mental it’s just so cruel.
