3) Shortly after the shooting, several agents -- possibly including Ross -- hop into an unmarked SUV and flee the scene.

I can't begin to describe how improper this is for an active investigation. Normally, you'd separate the witnesses so they don't, erm, get their stories to coincide.
Several ICE agents leave the scene in the unmarked SUV that Ross arrived in. It isn’t clear if Ross was among them. A bystander yells, “Don't let him leave.”

All United State Defense Contractors, and the Defense Industry as a whole, BEWARE: While we make the best Military Equipment in the World (No other Country is even close!), Defense Contractors are currently issuing massive Dividends to their Shareholders and massive Stock Buybacks, at the expense and detriment of investing in Plants and Equipment. This situation will no longer be allowed or tolerated! Also, Executive Pay Packages in the Defense Industry are exorbitant and unjustifiable given how slowly these Companies are delivering vital Equipment to our Military, and our Allies. Salaries, Stock Options, and every other form of Compensation are far too high for these Executives. Defense Companies are not producing our Great Military Equipment rapidly enough and, once produced, not maintaining it properly or quickly. From this moment forward, these Executives must build NEW and MODERN Production Plants, both for delivering and maintaining this important Equipment, and for building the latest Models of future Military Equipment. Until they do so, no Executive should be allowed to make in excess of $5 Million Dollars which, as high as it sounds, is a mere fraction of what they are making now. Additionally, the maintenance and repair of Equipment, once sold, is far too slow, and must be immediately enhanced. As President, I am demanding that maintenance be “spot on, on time.” Therefore, I will not permit Dividends or Stock Buybacks for Defense Companies until such time as these problems are rectified — Likewise, for Salaries and Executive Compensation. MILITARY EQUIPMENT IS NOT BEING MADE FAST ENOUGH! It must be built now with the Dividends, Stock Buybacks, and Over Compensation of Executives, rather than borrowing from Financial Institutions, or getting the money from your Government. Longer term, this is good for both Executives and Shareholders, because it will be GREAT for our Country! Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

Rubio told reporters step one will involve "quarantine" for Venezuela, a process that will include selling sanctioned oil and distributing the profits. Rubio went on to explain that the continued seizure of oil tankers is part of the plan, in addition to the process of selling sanctioned oil. U.S. forces seized a Russian-flagged oil tanker, originally bound for Venezuela, in the North Atlantic Wednesday. "We are going to take between 30 and 50 million barrels of oil," Rubio said. "We're going to sell it in the marketplace, at market rates, not at the discounts Venezuela was getting. That money will then be handled in such a way that we will control how it is dispersed in a way that benefits the Venezuelan people, not corruption, not the regime." Rubio said step two will focus on "recovery," where access to the Venezuelan market will be restored in a way that is "fair." He said at the same time, they will "begin to create the process of reconciliation nationally within Venezuela, so that the opposition forces can be amnestied and released and from prisons or brought back to the country, and begin to rebuild civil society." Rubio did not offer details of how step three — "transition" — will work. He said some phases would overlap.

NEW: Four days before oral arguments, Justice Sam "stock trader" Alito decides he "will not continue to participate" in a case involving oil companies.

This means that he did participate in certiorari stage proceedings, despite owning relevant stocks.

Plaquemines Parish Dear Counsel: I am writing to inform the parties that Justice Alito has determined that he will not continue to participate in this case because of a financial interest in ConocoPhillips, the parent corporation for Burlington Resources Oil and Gas Company. Justice Alito initially decided not to recuse because on June 2, 2025 Burlington was dismissed as a petitioner in this Court under Rule 46.1 after Burlington advised the Court by letter that it was "withdrawing" from the petition and that "neither Burlington Resources nor ConocoPhillips will be a party to (or have any other involvement in) the above-referenced case." Of course Trump would not come to the rescue of protesters in Iran. But maybe:
a) he wants them to think he would,
b) so they'll protest even more,
c) then, esp if Iranian leaders see Trump as having fomented it, they WILL start killing protesters, and
d) THAT'd further destabilize Iran…
