They're rules, created by statute, as an exercise of Congress' rulemaking authority under Article I, section 5. Procedural rules, unless set down in the Constitution, are rules like any other rules in the Senate Rules. The legal concept is called anti-entrenchment, that no legislature may tie...

The Trump administration is offering $60K in student loan forgiveness as a recruitment tool for ICE, which just proves fighting Biden on student loan relief was never about the loans or “paying your own debt.” It was about who was offering it and who it would’ve helped.

Gisele Pelicot was dragged back into court this week because one of her convicted rapists decided he didn’t want to “bear the burden” of being labelled a rapist.

He appealed and made her re-live the horrific crime.

The court denied his appeal and handed him a longer sentence.
