If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

So, par for the course, Fox News is tricking people.
TL;DR Bell recorded voice work for an audiobook that had nothing to do with Fox News, and it got sold to Fox News who repackaged the audiobook as a podcast. She never agreed to work w Fox News, but they're making it seem like she endorsed this.

These is a troubling quote because this is not how it’s supposed to work. Fire safety rules are supposed to balance cost and benefit, not just push for any possible risk reduction no matter the cost.

i would have said this is true a year ago (as someone who worked at fastly! you don't need a CDN for your little blog!) but now that LLMs are scraping every site thousands of times (my little blog gets hundreds of LLM bots a day, according to CF) you can actually blow through bandwidth limits
