Monthly HMIS data report for y’all for my first post: In September, 3,585 people experienced homelessness in Nashville, while 131 people were housed. Over the past 12 months, 11,620 unique people experienced homelessness in Nashville.

It’s cruel, it’s asinine, it’s a waste of money. Yet it has become policy for every city. We could have housed everyone experiencing homelessness many times over with the amount we spend on criminalizing & terrorizing them instead. Lowered quality of life for ALL of us for no reason besides cruelty.
