All this talk about women being attracted to monsters in fiction (as long as the monster has SOME conventionally attractive features) reminds me that one of the least discussed points in “Paprika” is that the protagonist is attracted to an obese man, and how that is portrayed as... "deviant".

Last RP: Obviously this is not true for everyone, but for me a podcast doesn't exist unless it's on Youtube. There I can click a button and get subtitles and/or a written transcript to read. If I can't see the words, I really struggle to follow them.

The main thing I always picture in my head while talking Udo Kier is his role in Lars Von Trier's "Riget", that is entirely my brand of "so unhinged and horrific that it goes all the way back to be hilarious".

Fascinated by this. He's made some sort of instant calculation any film he could name might be taken to mean something. What's the most inoffensive film you can think of? Like he can't blandly say "Loved Star Wars as a kid" in case anyone points out Luke Skywalker is an anti-fascist terrorist etc.
