I started playing Meow Tower. It's a nonogram game, and I haven't really played one before and I hadn't done one of the puzzles in a very long time.

The logic part is absorbing, which is good for my brain, but I don't have a system yet, so I spend a lot of time staring.

Speaking of laundry: I've been wondering why I didn't have sports bras anymore when I'd just bought some a few months ago.

I moved my purse and found all 3 sports bras that it's been nesting on. (It also collected some magazines and Medicare mail.)

My purse has less cushion for its ass now. 🧺🧼🫧
...place for the longest time.

I had so many panic attacks at that place. Heh. Studied there, took my brother to study there, etc.

I still dislike the speed tables.

Anyway! I suppose I can wash some socks and stuff while I'm sitting here.

I *had* to get out of my house, whether it was 3 a.m. and exactly freezing degrees or not. I had a car here again, so I bundled up and went driving around for half an hour. I bought a can of Ghost at 7-11 after staring at the drinks fridge way too long. I hoped I'd find Alani Nu and was not...

If you stand at your kitchen counter with a murder mystery audiobook going and considering things you saw on the news while eating pecan pie, your brain will ask you what AMOC-laufen would entail.

Then you have to put down the sugar.

I love the airplane-ears coyote.

I'm sure the last time I saw this, it was actually @carodjah.bsky.social 's Millie.

And she's like 2 years younger than Valérian.

(YES I know people's cats & trivia I am on psych meds thank you)

Challenge is for @fumblebee.bsky.social 's kittens now.
Current catus

The boy has always been a little unsure of which direction is up. Lots of time in zero-g? Unclear.

I was just sitting here, feeling slightly organized. Got some roses in a vase. Got some meds labeled and in the right places. Found a check in the mail and didn't lose it yet.

Leaned back in my chair and realized I've spent 3 hours with my hair in a falling-out braid 'cause I didn't scrunchie it.

Jawdropping desert #SkyPic!

Spent two hours protesting ICE outside the Federal Building. Three male drivers shouted derision. Probably 300 drivers honked or waved in support. Notably men in big black rigs did not, but women in black SUVs did. Two Cybertrucks did not comment.

I got to sing protest songs. 📣 #ICEdoesEvil

My sister and I were talking yesterday about alternative nicknames for the dog; she suggested "Canine 2.0", but I think "ChienGPT" is appropriate. (Little dude has occasional flashes of apparent understanding, interspersed with flatulence.)

Crush? Crush?! No. No way. Key lime pie, pecan pie, and cheesecake are all in my top 5 for holiday desserts. Or any time desserts.

(What else is in the top 5? 🤔 Right this moment... Flan. And molasses cookies.)
key lime pie crushes cheese cake. not even close

I do not want to "remix" photos of the new scooter lift on my parents' 3rd vehicle.

Sigh.

Hands, you gotta heal yourselves. We gotta take up whittling or something.

(Meijer has a set of 3 wood chisels on sale and you would be surprised how seriously I considered getting 'em.)

Every once in a while, I miss the short period of time when A.O. Scott was doing movie reviews for the NYT and I was going to movies often. Our tastes clicked, or whatever you call it; he was a reliable guide to whether I'd like something about 9 times outta 10. It was really cool.

If you also need about 10 minutes of gorgeous, somber #Baroque music, I found this for my coffee music and it's simply wonderful.

I've been listening to a terrible thriller over the last few days. I didn't even bother going back to listen to anything I missed while I was asleep.

But I'm about 80% done and I'm still calling the one assassin several different scrambled wrong names. That seems extra terrible.

I hope whatever I did that feels like a dozen shallow scratches on the right side of my back doesn't repeat itself, because I do not want to try to examine my naked back again for at least a few months.

"Oh yeah, my poor little tattoo."

"That's kind of a big bruise. How'd I get that?"

It's taken a few days, but I have at last inched back from "utterly exhausted" to "almost normal tired". My hands and feet have very very slowly decreased their brattiness. I think I might actually be able to wear shoes later. Then I can go get prescriptions and flowers and diet pop.

I love this photo. This is a very cute fox and I'm impressed with anything that lives at very high altitude.

But I have seen this exact pose and look in a litterbox.

🤭
😳Meet the Tibetan fox (Vulpes ferrilata), which is distinguished by its characteristic flattened face. This species can be found in parts of Asia, including China, India, and Nepal—and has been observed at elevations of up to 17,388 ft (5,300 m).
