Whenever I travel internationally, I say I'm from nyc. I don't ever call myself an American. I'm a New Yorker. I feel this even more strongly these days.

Have we considered that the reason ICE agents cover their faces is because they are hideously ugly?

Just a new yorker here asking my fellow new yorkers to not rank Cuomo

Don't even think about it

This change will eliminate one of my favorite subway combos, the F-Q at Lex-63rd St (because who in this city hasn't wanted to yell "F-Q!" without consequence)
Per MTA Board materials released today, the F and M are going to be trading places.

The M gets 63rd St and Roosevelt Island while the F will join the E underneath 53rd St. This should speed up travel times and reduce some delays caused by interlining.

I’m sad that Dead Outlaw will be closing next weekend. It’s GREAT. Go see it while you can. www.timeout.com/newyork/thea...

BREAKING: the first big spider has appeared on the Franklin Avenue Bridge lampposts, indicating fair weather ahead. It even patiently paused for this pic.

This kind of shit keeps me up at night
This is horrific. Dylan, a Bronx high schooler who fled violence in Venezuela, did everything right. But without a lawyer present, ICE trapped & arrested him - stripping him of his protections & sending him into a brutal, fast-tracked deportation process. We must demand his immediate release.
A Bronx high schooler showed up for a routine immigration court date. ICE was waiting.

Still thinking about Dead Outlaw...

Your annual reminder that Memorial Day was created to remember those who died during the Civil War, in hopes that we might never raise arms against each other again. It honors the dead so we might keep on living.

Let's meditate on that today.

Dead Outlaw is well worth your time. Nice to walk out of the theatre singing the songs for a change.

Ok, I'm gonna start talking about this here because I need an outlet. I was recently diagnosed with mild anxiety & depression, just trying therapy to deal with it at the moment. When the anxiety flares, it flares. Today I was part of a fairly successful workshop presentation. I should feel good.

I think a lot of actors tend toward political ambivalence or libertarianism (maybe the same thing) because they see themselves as people who pretend rather than people who act
