Why do I get the feeling that Influencers who said “both sides are equally bad” or “I don’t like to talk about politics but…” are gonna start having meltdowns when their brand deals dry up bc companies can’t afford to waste money on them anymore due to the tariffs

Good day to remember that a US President has no inherent power over tariffs whatsoever. It’s not like war powers or pardons. It’s entirely delegated by Congress to deal with emergencies. GOP Congress cld modify that law tonight and bring this to a screeching halt.

Yeah I really wish people could just agree that 2016 was the ball game. Rs also say "most important election," will pretend that the Vance-Shapiro race is existentially important, but the "fill the Scalia and Ginsburg seats" election was the ball game.
