Fun fact. North America lice evolved for hair type 1 to 3s. 4s have the wrong structure and North American lice struggle to get a grip so it's rare for Black people in North America to get lice.

Not in Africa though. That lice evolved for our hair types.

Seeing Gus Walz allowed to be himself on a national platform - not hidden from view, not told to stifle the expression of disability- was beautiful. He was allowed to be his full disabled self. Saying “don’t mention the disability part” erases this huge step forward in disability visibility.
