Most days suck for everyone and the circumstances that necessitated this move suck but the comfortable feeling of a brand new couch that holds our newly expanded family in a gorgeous home that fits us all is a lovely moment and I hope you all get a similar moment of bliss.

I left home the first time at 17 because I was threatened with being sent to one of these camps.

For the record, damn near every day of private Christian school for 10 years was a lightened version of conversion therapy.

Chick-Fil-A is the EASIEST boycott possible but too many of yall are too selfish and self-centered.

It’s not even that good of a chicken sandwich.

The secret is pickle juice and dukes mayo. You can have both of those things at home without expressly harming minorities.

If we want to address the domestic terrorism problem in the USA (aka school shootings, mass shootings, bigotry, misogyny, racism) this is an excellent place to start.

Capitalism says it’s citizens don’t inherently have rights, they have to pay with their body to earn the possibility of money in order to gain rights.

Under capitalism, the only being/thing with rights is money.

Listen, if a Bad President can come in and take away our rights and we're dependent on a Good President replacing them in four years to give us back our rights, then we do not have any rights.
If politicians can take or distribute them, then they're not "inalienable" and they're not "rights."
We don't have inalienable rights we have conditional privileges, divvied out according to the whims of whoever currently holds the reins.
And if we want to have actual rights, then we must build a system in which no one has the power to take them away to begin with.
