30 years ago they were like we have to ban song lyrics for the children but it’s full steam ahead for the here’s how to do drugs until you die machine
“ChatGPT started coaching Sam on how to take drugs, recover from them and plan further binges. It gave him specific doses of illegal substances, and in one chat, it wrote, ‘Hell yes—let’s go full trippy mode’”

A Calif. teen trusted ChatGPT for drug advice. He died from an overdose.
"Who on earth gives that advice?"

The destruction doesn't make for a photo-op like tearing down the East Wing of the White House or bulldozing the Rose Garden, but it's every bit as bad. Generations of American children learned to spell and count, learned the Preamble to the Constitution, from watching shows produced by the CPB.

Minnesotans: Next I need to report not on the probable harms of the Optum AI prepayment screening, but actual harms. So if your provider is closing or firing people, if you are losing your job, if you are a client who can't get services, etc.,contact me. I can protect your ID. lollardfish at gmail.
Perry: Trusted providers are being unfairly swept up in Minnesota’s fraud crackdown
As the state's new anti-fraud screening system went into effect, the Holland Center expected to receive $212,000 in payments. It instead received $22,000, David M. Perry writes. If nothing changes soo...

What's happening in Venezuela isn't war, it's deal-making (and back-stabbing). As VP Delcy Rodriguez assumes power, let's re-read the Miami Herald's reporting that she negotiated with Trump in 2025 for this outcome - new boss, same regime - and that she's involved in drug trafficking herself. 1/

Can't help but feel like this is one of the reasons why the Constitution says If a dude in office does an insurrection, don't let that motherfucker hold office again

Bc clearly they cannot be trusted with power & control over the levers of government, & they do not care about democratic constraints

People defending Biden doing nothing about Trump when he explicitly ran on doing something about Trump have weirdly selective memories about January 7th and how the entire political establishment was briefly in agreement that coup attempts are bad and should be punished.

Yes, this is exactly the time to demand Democrats "do something."

They can denounce Trump's actions as unconstitutional. They can state that he must be impeached and removed. They can make clear that all involved will be held accountable.

These are the core duties of a role they all signed up for.

I said this in a joking way, but it’s not really a joke. Rubio has been hellbent on regime change in Venezuela as a stepping stone to regime change in Cuba, Hegseth just likes hurting people and Trump likes anything he can do without having to consult with others that makes him feel like he’s king.
Maduro’s offer to talk was getting too much press—gotta war war before too many insist Rubio jaw jaw.
