As one so often does, one is drawn to wonder what Shostakovich made of The Goodies - did he find Kitten Kong, ironically, to be a capitalist running dog? Or that Tim's Union Jack Waistcoat was a symbol of western imperialist decadence? Or did he just enjoy it over a coke and big mac?

Maybe I should make a scarf or something. Something simpler than a toy.

My TBR pile currently stands at about 15 books I REALLY want to read. Problem I've got is, between pain and brain fog, I'm only capable of fluffy books right now. Like, my brain's on a diet of sweets, but I'm staring longingly at the crunchiest and most rainbowy salad ever.

Wanted to crochet, but it's not happening. Although, that's starting with MR. Maybe if I do ch2 & work into the 1st loop, it'd work better?
Also, plug in the upstairs sink is jammed in the closed position and won't open, so I spent an hour in the bathroom floor trying to unscrew a u-trap.
Ow.

We had a huge barney today. Ended up in floods of tears.
The main problem I have being the non-autistic neurodeivergent in our house, is that, eight hours later, I'm still reeling and emotionally drained. They've all moved on because it's done.
Some days I really wish things were different. Arse.

No Xmas dinner yesterday due to The Englutening, so we're having it today. I've just put the gammon on for the others:
Gammon joint
3 cans of coke or Dr Pepper
2 sticks celery
1 fat carrot
1 onion (all roughly quartered)
2 bay leaves.
All in slow cooker forever. Well, four hoursish. Bosh, done.
