one of my favourite urban legends growing up was the yellow m&ms story. if you've never heard of it, the short version is that van halen were supposed to have been such divas that if they walked into their dressing room and saw their bowl of m&ms had any colour other than yellow, they'd walk out.

I know someone who worked on DCS/CP. Senior staff rushed it out the door in a classic case of CV-driven development, and moved on to better things before the shit hit the fan.
The useless digital infrastructure of the courts also saps hours of time.
The Digital Case System and Common Platform - the central nervous system of the criminal courts - breaks down with laughable regularity. Court WiFi is so bad in some courts that you are better off tethering on 3G (yes, 3G).
