about my singing lead for the song. We usually sing the songs that we write, but Marq was sick at the time of recording. so I ended up singing lead. which (maybe I'm biased) I think worked out because I have a better "reggae" voice than Marq. I added a touch of Patton that I'm sure Marq would've too

I took Marq's original reggae-ish song turned the slap bass line into a nu-metal riff and made an arrangement that was funky, spooky, and heavy. This song was our project debut of sorts as we released it on Halloween of 2024.

Track 1 from this live album is a song called "Philosophical Zombie." this is a song that @skidmarq.bsky.social wrote a few years ago. when we first formed this new project Calabio Twins, we decided to dig up this old song and make a new arrangement for it.
