The way I did this all my life and never once asked “is it possible this is adhd?” until I physically couldn’t get away with it anymore.

I think I wrote the final draft of my thesis in one week of sleep deprivation where I lived in a chair with books and note cards arranged in stacks around me.

A professor let me write one double-length paper across two classes I took from him. It counted for basically all of my grade. I wrote 20 pages in three hours a few days before Christmas and got an A.

This had a deleterious effect on my belief that I shouldn't just wing it in important situations.

My high school had Zinn as a standard AP US history textbook. We had him and two others and were asked to compare and contrast the telling of the same history through different lenses.
...look I know it sounds like I went to a conservative fever dream, but I am an outlier and should not be counted.
