circulatory, probably part connective tissue. The only things that seem to help at all are pacing, keeping warm, & massaging my hands/forearms daily with a tennis ball: they're definitely not the hands I used to have, but they usually don't feel like blunt instruments any more.

On the plus side, I gave movies a serious shot when books were too hard, & I have a new appreciation for the genre, but I miss that spark.

Absolutely, the cognitive stuff & the small motor stuff.

According to the memory/cognition tests my Dr gave me, I have no impairment, but he didn't have a baseline. *I* know there's a gear that used to be there that just... isn't now. And thinking deeply about complicated things is *exhausting*.

I'm used to seeing folks in uniform out & about, running errands on the way home.

It is *viscerally different* being somewhere they're deployed, knowing they consider you something they might have to deal with.

I knew they were there, but I was unprepared for how it would feel.

My folks got me this album bc it had a popular song & they'd been instructed to try to make me relatable to my peers. I don't think they would've if they'd had even a scrap of context. I really wish the US had actually listened to Chumbawumba's lyrics rather than just half-hearing "Tubthumping" and then relegating them to drunk-at-a-bar music. Like… Even on that album (their eighth, btw), there's levels & layers of class, anti-racist, feminist, & queer-conscious themes.
