Not a doomer but I don’t get the sense that enough people on “our side” have gotten over the BS they engaged in that helped Republicans do this. Like we still have so-called centrists who want it to be 1991 more than they want to end this and so-called leftists who want to play 1971 more than win.

Magic Lantern slide of the Phantom Coach sign in Coventry. The pub is still in business & so is the coachman who haunts the premises whilst the sound of galloping horses can be heard late at night. Sadly, the pub has since yielded to modernity & has a new sign but the ghosts remain, nonetheless.

Great way to visualize Denver’s crazy warm December, with high temps 13.7° above average.

Denver had a warmer December than Raleigh, North Carolina - despite Raleigh being nearly 15° warmer than Denver in an average December.

Denver, CO - After a whiplash of a year, December finished off in record warm territory with an impressively persistent stretch of >60F highs, leading to a remarkable monthly high temperature anomaly of +13.7F above average.
