I'm sure many of you have heard by now that earlier this week, IU k*lled the print edition of its student paper, the IDS. The issue that was supposed to print this week contained criticism of the Whitten regime and IUs further slide into Fscist control, and they couldn't allow that to happen during Homecoming, when all the rich alumni are in town.
Enter Purdue! The Purdue student paper, The Exponent, owns its own presses. Yesterday, in an act of tremendous solidarity with their biggest rival school, they printed the forbidden issue of the IDS. They then drove it to Bloomington overnight and stocked all of the IDS boxes on campus, just in time for Homecoming.
Solidarity is what makes us stronger, and solidarity will be what ultimately allows us to triumph, if we can ever truly get it together. I hope everyone has a fun, safe day if they're going out today, and I hope we can think about what acts of solidarity we can begin taking to really make this movement MOVE - beyond a permitted expression of upset into more active resistance.

Portland: if a streamer from out of state gets arrested or detained, perhaps wait to see if he gets more than a citation before donating $100,000+ to his "legal defense". that money is vastly in excess of what he might possibly need and could have gone to helping people in serious legal jeopardy

Was able to borrow the entirety of the actual Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation/MDZS novels from my library over the last month or two, and I am once again blown away by how great of an author MXTX is. Everything that happens is so thoughtful, and (on the romance side) sweet.

Okay! My Hollow Knight: Silksong mod, based on DemoJameson's hover mod, is now available!

Near the end of Act 2 you get an ability called the Faydown Cloak that makes the game feel much worse. This mod makes the ability only trigger when "up" is held. It feels WAY better.

another good thing about modular blocklists is that you can unblock them all with one push of a button later if you want to without having to go to each account individually

they let you keep track of why you blocked someone and where you can revert that

this is why i dislike huge omni-block lists
