"My most vivid memories of my school life is Farage repeatedly coming up to me, knowing that I was Jewish, saying 'Hitler was right' and 'gas em' and that was frequently followed by imitating the sound of escaping gas."

@centralbylines.co.uk the density map of who is voting shows a low uptake for Birmingham and surrounding constituencies.
Surprising given these communities stand strong against the divisiveness & racism promoted by Russian fascist interference in democracy.

If Farage had just admitted, apologised and repented his teenage racism - water under the bridge. But the fact that he has denied the truth and maligned those saying it NEARLY FIFTY YEARS ON, indicates to me not only his untrustworthiness, but that these antisemitic beliefs are not so historic

I actually really don't think it much matters that Farage was a racist idiot at school, really. What matters is how he a) reflects on that behaviour now, and b) what he's learned and c) done in the 40 years since.

And, well... a) Badly, b) Nothing and c) Been a fascist-enabling spiv.

Nigel Farage has been a lifelong racist. He's been a racist since his school days. David Lammy was forced to apologise for saying Farage flirted with the Hitler Youth - but what do you call it when someone sings Hitler Youth songs? Read Chloe Deakin's letter on Farage's fascism and racism at school.

Nathan Gill’s conviction and sentencing blew the lid off Reform’s Russian involvement. The sooner Starmer announces an investigation the better.

Make him do it sooner by signing and sharing the petition:

Let’s just say Russia came up… and Farage was the punchline. 🔥

He is the Prime Minister and a party leader. Why isn't he launching a national investigation himself?

Market reaction so far is calmly positive. GBP up a small but significant amount vs USD, EUR, and basket. 10-year gilt yields down 6pts on this morning, 30-year gilts down 9pts. Traders seem to like increased headroom and midde-of-the-roadness of it all.

Austerity, Brexit broke 🇬🇧. Badenoch is barking mad if she thinks that by choosing to forget how bad Tories are for Britain, the electorate will too.
I have to watch Kemi Badenoch shouting now, for work.
