Last. At one point they fed the dog hot cocoa... did they not know in the 70s that dogs can't have chocolate? 😬

I'm no doctor but Meg and Charles Wallace are surely autistic, as is their mother... and they are the HEROES OF THE DAMN WORLD.

Mmm-hmm. Agree. Yep yep yep.

Basically this book is about earthlings and aliens who take a trip à la Magic School Bus to battle evil, cure a sick kid, and save the world.

I always identified strongly with Meg in "A Wrinkle in Time" but this hits differently having a 6-year-old (the age of Charles Wallace) at home.

I re-read "A Wind in the Door" by Madeline L'Engle over the last couple days. She's one of my fave authors and I just did not care for the book as a kid, but thought I should give it another try. I took notes so... here are some of them. #CurrentlyReading

To celebrate Bilbo and Frodo's birthdays yesterday I finally got Tales of the Shire! It was so cozy I fell asleep... 😬 That said, it was 11 p.m. so I'm not drawing any conclusions, will just try again another time. #HobbitDay #CurrentlyPlaying

They make plastic clog removers to poke down the drain and pull out hair and other gunk. It will only set you back $5 or so if you don't want to use harsher chemicals.

Thank you, that is very kind! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Honing the technical details was just as satisfying as writing it, so thank you for noticing. ☺️

I'm glad I had the warning in there. Tears are such good things sometimes. 🥲

Love it! "Reticulating splines" was chef's kiss.

Got a 15 with 3 infractions but I'm going to play again. 😁

Thank you, I appreciate it!

There is some soothing lofi background music if you have your sound on! I would love to hear feedback (technical or otherwise). Thank you. 😊

Twine publishing day! I've been working on this short piece of interactive fiction on and off for about a year, based on some memories of my late sister. It's moody and mellow, and might make you teary if you knew my sister, but knowing her is definitely not a prerequisite.

No cheating. Your last saved celebrity photo is your therapist. Who is it?

Well if my therapist is this character I'm going to be making some bad decisions. 😄

I played it because someone else raved about it, so I'm happy to have passed the energy on. 🎮

WASD + mouse controls were unfamiliar to her I believe, but she sat down and finished it in 3 hours and loved it!

Convinced a very good friend who is a reader but not a gamer to play What Remains of Edith Finch. "It is like none of the games your kids play," I assured her.

When spring comes but the weather stays wintering, I always feel like it’s because Persephone is back home with Demeter but at that locked away in her room/not speaking to her mom stage. Then when it’s nice for a day it’s like, Aw, did the ice thaw as they shared a moment over coffee this morning?
