Once Frankenstein came out I knew even if Wicked got nominations in them, those craft categories were all lost. And I love that Avatar got in for costume

(We all know I love Wicked BUT!!) Their only job was to write one GOOD original song and they beefed it on two boring ballads. Then having Glinda in one (1) very boring princess dress for all of For Good that was a design downgrade from her big Pink Bubble dress in Part One was a huge misstep.

worth remembering the VFX team on Pirates lowkey lived in fear cos Verbinski has a VFX background (I wanna say compositing?) so they could not sneak a single cheat past him. one of his favourite details was Davy Jones' lil exhaust spout going pink in direct sunlight like a human ear.
