Historically the NY Times has resisted using (refused to use?) the word LIES. I don’t know why that is, wish someone there would weigh in, but there’s no question that their inability to use the L-word has helped him deny a central problem: Trump is a serial liar.

I always thought MLK’s ‘Mountaintop’ speech was his best, which was given the day before he was killed. It is especially relevant given what is happening now in MN and elsewhere. He was getting many serious threats, which he references in his line “I may not get there with you.”

Where’s the line, Trumpers? If not now, when? How much crazy gets us to the 25th Amendment? As if ICE cruelty wasn’t enough to shatter us, most of us are also sick of being the joke of the world. Shame on anyone who stands silent when they have the ability to put an end to this utter embarrassment.

Everything is awful … except for this. Kudos to the new mayor for every moment of joy he is bringing to his new job.
The good news? We’re winning universal childcare faster than anyone expected. The bad news? Ms. Rachel and I have to find some new song inspiration…

Let’s reinvigorate the conversation about how WE pay the tariffs. So he’s about to charge us money in an attempt to fulfill this insane — literally insane — desire on his part.
Trump just placed a tariff on most of the EU of 10% that will increase to 25% in June unless they agree to sell him Greenland.
