The Tomb Raider Catalyst trailer was really fucking cool, I never really considered making Lara pull off some Batman-esque moves but it really worked. Coming out from the shadows, the twin pistols lighting up the darkness, the grapple kick, fucking love that shit.

I honestly believe 2025 has been one of the best years for video games in recent memory. Any other year any of the GOTY nominees would’ve won, it’s kinda crazy they were all competing against eachother.

I think people often forget that even if AI was perfect 100% of the time, it’d still be bad to use it.
AI isn’t bad because of the quality or accuracy of the results. It’s bad because it’s bad for art, society, education, the environment, critical thought and personal growth.

My even more unpopular opinion is unless you have personally experienced the thing, you should probably refrain from having an opinion on it.
We need to return to shaming people for parroting YouTube/TikTok with stuff like "When I want your opinion, I'll just find the YouTuber who gave it to you."

I’ve been having a real creative block the last few months. I know logically it’s because I’ve had a real struggle with my mental health and recently started medication for it that’s sent me completely out of whack, but it still sucks to not have the motivation to make shit.

I can tell making stuff on the internet for as long as I have has broken my brain because whenever someone said something out of pocket or a little weird I always used to assume it was a joke, maybe it didn’t land. Now I default to assuming they’re mean or hostile, and I think that’s a little sad.
