Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent.

Opportunities are everywhere.

Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

Remember that state seats are what determine how gerrymandered the 435 house districts are and who that gerrymandering favors

So state elections should be an urgent priority
Reminder: the 2026 midterm elections are scheduled for Nov 3, 2026.

On the ballot:
All 435 House seats
33 of 100 senate seats
39 state gubernatorial seats
Numerous other state and local seats nationwide

Not to undercut the seriousness of climate change putting humans and polar bears in dangerous proximity to each other, but Canada Man stories are way more badass than Florida Man stories.

I have been waiting for the Melville stans to make some Ahab-whale joke out of the Kendrick Lamar–Drake feud, but nothing so far. Y'all OK?

Very smash-and-grab sounding. Big payday at the outset followed by a total collapse in which these guys still make enough money for it to be “worth it.”
A great example of how no one can find actual uses for LLMs that aren't scams for grifts. Quite literally the LAST thing publishing needs is MORE manuscripts, especially low quality and unedited AI regurgitations. This isn't a problem being solved.

Basically every right/center right pundit’s entire take on extremely online progressives. “They’re so annoying so I’ll just hang with the destroy everything crowd.”
Nate Silver apparently doesn't understand that he is one of the most annoying people on the planet -- but at least we're not at risk of his presence here.
