This all started because I said we have too many board games and I’m going to sell them on marketplace. Led to tearing out an old 60s basement bar that made everything dark and crowded. And violà!

I grew up in a house where you called a guy to get things done and then I married a guy who can build actual functioning things. Drawing the plans, numerous specific tools to make a specific cut, etc. not totally done but the guy’s a vet so how dare he have another skill!

And it’s more accessible to kids to play and practice (in theory uou only need a ball and a hoop and it’s easily played indoors/outdoors and you can practice alone) no matter socioeconomic status. Of course businesses for travel teams and training change that environment.

It really was. I grew up in Syracuse and games against Georgetown were treated like a national holiday. You just watched Big East tournament games all day at school or missed school to travel to see certain ones.

Every team who has lost their CCG and also made the CFP has dropped at least one spot. Last year, Georgia, Texas, SMU all lost and dropped in ranking. This year, Ohio State dropped one spot. Each of the teams lost by one score.
The only exception EVER? 2025 Alabama. Who lost by 21. With -3 rush yds

Orange Theory teacher is an ND fan. I was obviously dying on the treadmill and was starting to decrease my speed & he comes up to me and says “What if Love decided to pull back against Penn St? Do you have a knee brace on?” and I started cracking up and got a 🫶 when I didn’t slow down 🤣
