Not sure what are the chances of people on Bluesky are playing #twistedwonderland or #ensemblestars but I guess putting up my player IDs wouldn’t hurt

(And in case anyone’s wondering: yes, those are my actual ranking numbers in EnStars. Getting old is mandatory, being mature is optional 😛)
Somehow I’m not going to be surprised if the new kids get a lim before Midori when we get them in the EN server, hah…
Look I know we only have 8 idols left who don’t have global lims — 13 if we include the new kids — but I’m still miffed we still don’t have a lim Midori all this time and I’ve been hoarding dia since October 2022 #enstars

I guess this is for producing one of the least popular characters, huh…

NOTHING is lost by properly crediting individuals for the exact contributions they made. You list the entire executive suite who never touched a key and yet people who ground on the game for years are regulated to a "and they were also here." It's not hard. www.gamedeveloper.com/business/rid...
Ridgeline lead 'disappointed' in Battlefield 6 credits
A year after EA shuttered Ridgeline Games, Marcus Lehto expressed disappointment about his former teammates being relegated to a "Special Thanks" section.

I personally hate the "shorter games with worse graphics" meme because it misunderstands the problem.

We can have bigger games with better graphics if we just get rid of the shareholders.

The problem isn't game design; its late stage capitalism.

Games being big isn't why we're overworked.

Also let's stop calling them "worse looking" games, please -- they are artistic and technical choices that are not beholden to technology that lets you see pores. They are creative choices themselves.

The shorter games with worse graphics made by less people discourse is starting again and the nuance lost in this conversation is: we absolutely CAN make big, hyper-realistic games, sustainably. The problem -- and the money drain -- is executive pay, leadership overreach, mismanagement, and whims.
I’m pretty sure I broke my login streak a long time ago with #twistedwonderland and I’ve been playing since launch lol

Though tbf it’s more of a case of forgetfulness than being lazy, I don’t understand how people can juggle more than two live-service games at the same time

I don’t like the fact we got a revival scout so soon after the Fei Ren Zai collab, I hope I’m wrong that we’re not getting a Spotlight event after this

...who are we kidding, we’re totally getting a Spotlight after looking at almost 24 months’ data from the CN server

EA's bombshell deal to go private could be good for investors, but bad for employees. Leveraged buyouts almost always lead to immediate mass layoffs, and more than half of EA's current cash flow will likely go toward servicing the debt.

Hyper enthusiast, price-insensitive players are really keeping things going, especially in the non f2p gaming space.

According to Circana's Q3 2025 Future of Games, only 4% of US video game players buy a new game more often than once per month, with a third of players not buying any games at all.

My colleagues at Bloomberg report that the $20 billion debt in the EA deal is expected to be rated single-B — meaning it is considered a "junk" loan, or one that is high-risk and speculative, typically offering high interest rates. Which the new EA will have to pay

Really underestimated how long the path to 100% completion for The Letter is taking me…

Wait until the Saudis find out they only bought EA the base company, and the subsidiaries can only be obtained through loot boxes.

I’m biased because it hits close to home, but frankly I think a disabled god working a forge in a wheelchair he invented for himself is pretty fucking awesome.

Always worth mentioning of course that these cretins don’t necessarily care that what they’re saying is stupid and makes them sound like clueless dipshits. The aim is to broadcast contempt. “He’s a god” is cover for “fuck disabled people.”

It’s still funny that they’re such imbeciles though.

Remembering when the nerdzis whined about Hades II’s Hephaestus being in a wheelchair because “he’s a god” and demonstrated how they know exactly fuck-all about Greek mythology. Or many polytheistic mythologies. Or anything at all.

A lot of people are (understandably) focused on the Saudi Arabia and Kushner part of this, but the far bigger immediate impact will come from the new private EA being on the hook for $20 billion in debt. That could mean mass layoffs, more aggressive monetization, and other big cost-cutting measures

It’s official: EA is going private.

The leveraged buyout will be financed by a staggering $20 billion of debt, which likely means some *aggressive* cost cutting is ahead for EA in the coming months and years.

The whole “he’s so nice in real life” shit is not the mark of a good person. If they spread hateful violent rhetoric until you meet them, that’s the mark of a coward.

It’s a really, really old trick as well. You have to be real gullible to fall for it.
Guys it's ok. He only called for violence against gays and trans people and declared the Civil Rights Act a mistake for the money and power.

Yeah. I’ve seen the glee whenever someone like me is murdered. I’ve seen the joy taken in the suffering of anyone marginalized. I’ve seen those revelers preach how jokes are legal again and nothing’s off the table, but now they’re offended? Fuck then.

Not saying anyone deserves anything, but it’d be weird to say it’s wrong to eat people while uncritically honoring the Purple People Eater in the same breath.

He said gay people should be stoned.
Violence is always unacceptable, and threats of violence have no place in public discourse. Our thoughts are with Charlie Kirk and his family.
