The school bully BETS you're too scared to not just give up your lunch money and live in fear. They only bully when it's easy (which is why they cowardly target the weak), and do not know what to do against actual (reasonable) resistance.

That's a fair observation. That's also why the dem leadership has come under heavy scrutiny by oodles of democrats, and many newer, non-leader democrats are simply leading the charge to do things differently.

Leadership doesn't functionally change overnight, so it takes time to become organized.
