Hey everyone, I got laid off from my day job today so if anyone happens to know any paid work a podcast editor can do, let me know.

Also like, an office job with benefits if you happen to have that, but some podcast editing would give me some breathing room.

Yes, it is impossible with the vanilla rules :)

You should figure out what is the rule that allows you to solve it... Let me know if you need any hints!

My only complaint would be lackluster UI & over-reliance on symmetric grids - it makes me feel like I'm repeating inputs + I can't help but see some uniqueness logic shortcuts because of it. Symmetry is extremely powerful in exposing the solution (sort of why I used it as a teaching tool in Abdec)

I've been playing Logic Bombs by Matthewmatosis for the past couple of days and it's the bomb! Really solid core ruleset and well done puzzles, recommended.

Welcome to a realm of pure logic, where rules are rules and the next step can always be deduced.

My favorite artifact in the "you don't need AI to do art" discourse is, of course, screenwriter Dan O'Bannon's sketch of the facehugger to explain it to Giger.

G. BUMPS

Bumps act as any other piece – they can be jumped over or stacked upon. But they can't be moved, so a Shepherd can't slide with a bump stacked under it.

F. END TILES

You must end the puzzle with each end tile occupied solely with the piece depicted on it. If pieces are stacked on an end tile, the puzzle isn't solved.

A Herd can cover an end tile to solve the puzzle, but only if no Sheep in this Herd is stacked upon. ( I. Herds)
February 6, 2026 at 5:59 PM
The stacked upon piece stays under the Shepherd and slides with it. When the Shepherd jumps the next time, it unstacks and leaves the other piece behind.

A stack can contain more than 2 pieces.

E. SHEEP

Sheep can't be moved on their own, but they can be jumped over or stacked upon.
February 6, 2026 at 5:59 PM
A Shepherd can jump even with another Shepherd stacked on it (which is relevant for some late-game puzzles).

D. STACKING

If a Shepherd jumps onto a tile occupied by another piece, it stacks on this piece. This piece can be either a Shepherd, a Sheep or a bump. ( E. Sheep, G. Bumps)
February 6, 2026 at 5:59 PM
An end tile doesn't stop sliding by itself.

C. JUMPING

A Shepherd can also jump in cardinal directions. It always jumps over another piece or a stack and for exactly 2 spaces. It can't jump over unoccupied tiles or over the edge of the grid. A jump doesn't automatically continue into a slide.
February 6, 2026 at 5:58 PM
Your goal is to end the puzzle with each end tile occupied by the piece depicted on it.

B. SLIDING

A Shepherd can be slided in cardinal directions. When it slides, it can't stop or change direction until it hits the edge of the grid or another piece occupying the next tile on the path.

A. SOLVING A PUZZLE

You set up a puzzle by placing the correct pieces onto the grid, as shown by little markings in the corners of the tiles.

Black pieces are known as Shepherds, white pieces are known as Sheep.

Huh, I can't seem to be able to edit the alt, at least on the desktop Bsky. I'll post them here in the comments, but beware, they are wordy, cause they cover 2 whole sections from the book:

This is another recent thing, but I released a murder mystery game...!

- It has 3 stories (about 50 mins each)
- Playable with 4–5 players
- One player becomes the murderer, and the others gather clues and try to identify them
- Currently only in Japanese (sorry...)

If you can afford it you should just buy this because it's absolutely worth it (and well deserving of the award) but if you can't, this is a really nice gesture.
