That you are unable or unwilling to directly state which things the American right is in fact correct about suggests that you are hedging your bet here. Why?
I think the American right is in fact correct about several things and it would be wise to concede that.
Heck I’d settle for Charlottesville

That’s because nobody in elite media lives there.

Crazy GOP policies in deep crimson states and counties never seem to hit the same way as policies in San Francisco and New York do.

Idaho made it illegal for any public school or private business to require vaccination, even if that private business is a nursing home or day care. And that's much closer to becoming a national GOP policy than banning algebra ever became.
Unfortunately it wasn't "some Democrat somewhere" who said that about algebra. It was official policy in San Francisco. And yes, it was stupid. www.nytimes.com/2024/05/22/n...

This didn't work in 2018 with AOC, either.
Starting to get a sense for how Republicans might use Mamdani as an issue

Something to take into account. Abigail Spanberger got her start in politics via Moms Demand. We talk a lot about the Trump effect and Dobbs radicalizing suburban women with degrees. But I think we miss just how school shootings served as a sparkplug for the suburban shift for educated women.

"Hott—shockingly— answered 'No' when asked if he agreed 'agree that it's unconstitutional to arrest people for being opposed to Midway Blitz?' Similarly, Bovino testified that he has instructed his officers to arrest protesters who make hyperbolic comments in the heat of political demonstrations"
Overnight court filings seem to be giving us a peek at what U.S. Border Patrol commander Greg Bovino said in his deposition so far (it apparently continues today):

Ma'am, if Idaho Republicans are passing anti-vaccine laws because of smug liberals (conceded) on social media, that's not my fault. That's their fault.

The non-death penalty states in the country add up to 303 electoral votes. This goes higher if you add the states where the death penalty is on the books but rarely used.

By abolishing the death penalty, Newsom made California as progressive as West Virginia, Iowa, North Dakota, and Alaska.
Gavin Newsom is a moderate in the eyes of socialists but in terms of stuff that voters care about he has a very problematic record.

Seems to me it's only a "serious political problem" if you choose to see the left as opponents instead of key partners in a big tent that has room for New York socialists, Nebraska moderates and lots of folks in between.
Why the wink-wink phrasing? Just say I think the American right is correct about X, Y, and Z because… Would be more persuasive frankly. Use your words big guy. ;)

They're getting to do their preferred policies right now, almost uninhibited from law or judicial oversight, and Americans seem to actually really hate it.

It just feels to me like our gilded aristocrats haven’t actually learned what happens when their predecessors exhausted the have-nots’ patience with elite impunity.

one of you on here coined “importance-washing”, I forget who, and it’s kind of an awkward term but it does capture a real thing: you can just think people are lame and dislike their vibe. that’s allowed. it doesn’t have to be anything bigger than that.

Defense wants gag gifts provided to the officer after the incident included in discovery. One is a plushie sandwich and another is a patch that says, if I heard correctly, “Felony Footlong.” Sounds like we won’t end up seeing these physically but will hear them described.
