I work from 9 to 6 and then spend the rest of the time with my family. I do whatever I want at weekends. I read lots of books and haven't switched netflix for claude. I don't lie in bed worrying about my agents. I have no agents. I don't care and these people are chasing ghosts
Token Anxiety

i think i mostly echo this for myself. with so much that can be done, i often feel like i *should* be doing something, always

Well I'm keen for Castlevania.
Also Saros because I'll play anything from Housemarque, and marvel tokon still looks great.

On the fence about Dead or Alive "we saw this worked for Virtua Fighter" Edition.
I'll catch up on the state of play tomorrow. Hope they announce some third person action games.

Unreal Tournament 2004 is now available for free.

...well, I mean, you probably could've grabbed a GOG offline installer out the back of a truck earlier, but NOW it's Official/Legally Free and has the in-development community patch packed in for ongoing support. www.oldunreal.com/downloads/ut...

Elon, at a white board, writing meaningless 1s and 0s. Ten terrified employees applauding rapturously and high fiving.
The owner of xAI predicts a future where machine learning operates in binary directly, strikingly similar to how it did in 1959 when it was invented and routinely thereafter.

My pal and fellow Scottish developer Chris Brown recently put his solo-dev racing game AGX GP up on Steam and you should definitely give it a look if you like AAA Wipeout visuals with ridiculously-fast twitch arcade gameplay. store.steampowered.com/app/4250680/...

If I see another of those 'Chat GPT' work caricatures, I will scream.

The shit-eating, self-fellatio is unbearably cringe and it just shows an unwillingness amongst people to critically evaluate what they are doing.

This Reddit post sums it up.

This is a great time to get off Substack. Beehive and Ghost are good alternatives.

As an added benefit, your blog won't be driving traffic to Nazis and their sycophants.
The popular blogging platform Substack – used by numerous British comic creators to promote their work – has suffered a data breach. The company is warning users to take extra caution with any emails or text messages you receive…

The water companies couldn't operate businesses with utterly predictable numbers of customers without getting greedy and overloading them with debt to pay excessive salaries and dividends. They are still trying to cheat to pay themselves too much.

RE that RT.. it’s wild how steam reviews are still so damn important to getting visibility. If you play and like indie games, the most generous and helpful thing you can do is spend an hour popping positive reviews onto anything you like with <500 or so reviews.

It’s pretty fucking wild that the DOJ is releasing files that include accusations that the President of the United States raped underage girls, to distract from the fact that the DOJ is covering up murders of US citizens by their own government.
