Good morning, please can you share this petition by @peatfree.bsky.social to end peat sales - all previous petitions were for the Conservative Government, and we're now close to making this law with Labour so peat habitat can never be used again actnow.peatfreepartnership.org.uk/end-peat-sal...
Sign the petition to end peat sales!
No more delays: Let's get peat out of gardens once and for all. The time for uncertainty has ended.

In one of my occasional Friday night “WTF” posts in relation to TOTP - at what point in time would this have been perceived as inappropriate? I mean, clearly, it always was, but in the ‘70s apparently we didn’t think so

Nature isn’t a “blocker” – it makes our lives better.

Our coast, countryside, heritage and wildlife underpin our food, water and health and put millions of pounds into the economy. The Government must not weaken the laws that protect them.

Grass Carp for sale at a local pond supplier. Doesn’t seem the best idea and I was surprised to learn it’s not illegal if GB bred. Just hugely irresponsible, especially down the road from important wetlands. Interesting to see them forming dense masses as they do in infested European waterbodies
