If Boro never play Brizzle City again, it will be too soon. We just can't do it there.

Now Conway. It's not our day today, I think.
Yeah, after Whittaker hitting the post and that open goal miss(both caused by keeper errors), I don't think Boro will score today. It's in the stars

This is Boro's poorest performance since Hellberg took over. Let's see how he can inspire when we're not on song

It seems Brizzle have noticed a weakness with Sol and have been taking shots from distance figuring a shot may sneak in.

I'll spending xmas day with my mum and my rapidly declining 95yo Nanna who will almost certainly find a way to CUT TO THE CORE OF ME, it involves 4 hours of driving and there's never any phone signal in the house.

But I will be having an infinitely better xmas than David Walliams. So. There's that.

The Red-Brown coalition again. It's like 1939 again
On both right and left, there's anger about the recent assessments of Russia's threat to the UK and the rest of Europe, and about the need for us to prepare to meet it. There's a lot I could say here (as my students know), but most of it boils down to two things. 🧵

A third of 16-18 year olds girls say in surveys that they experienced unwanted sexual touching at school. There are several hundred rapes reported in schools every year.
Dog-whistle and factually incorrect. Ladies, raise your hand if you were sexually assaulted by a boy at school? I’d wager this or a family member is most women’s first experience of sexual violence

Matthew Goodwin objects to prosecuting this: ‘I think it’s time for the British to gang together, hit the streets and start the slaughter. Violence and murder is the only way now. Start off burning every migrant hotel then head off to MPs’ houses and Parliament, we need to take over by FORCE.’

Noam Chomsky’s emails to Jeffrey Epstein display none of the fawning chatter found from, say, Larry Summers. And he does not appear to have been co-opted by whatever access Epstein provided.

What the Noam Chomsky–Jeffrey Epstein E-mails Tell Us
Chomsky has often suffered fools, knaves, and criminals too lightly. Epstein was one of them. But that doesn’t mean Chomsky was part of the “Epstein class.”
