New Works Showcase: An opera for the deaf? That was impressive! Next: not sure the middle two are worth pursuing. Finally, I loved the kung fu monkey puppet but please tell me why this needs to be an opera. (The speaker and puppet were fantastic without any singing.) #newopera #operaamerica
