In my classroom, there is always a delay. Between question and answer. That space—the stutter, the pause, the gesture—is where actual teaching happens. this is a good story but it shows that people still fundamentally misunderstand LLMs - there is no "working properly", they're inherently probabilistic models. hallucinations aren't a bug, they're a fundamental part of language models. these aren't fact machines!!!

It is government policy for at least 4% of people to be unemployed at all times.
