are YOU a university professor, professor emeriti or associate professor of history, social sciences, law, philosophy, theology, and religion?
Did you know you can nominate people for the Nobel Peace Prize?
Some thoughts:

1. The deadline for nominating a person or group for the Nobel Peace Prize is Feb. 1.

2. History professors are qualified nominators.

3. The people of Minnesota have been awe-inspiringly peaceful in the face of state violence.

4. He would be so mad.

This is tomorrow’s front page for The Minnesota Star Tribune. In a moment in which much of legacy media are enabling and condoning the worst actions of the Trump admin, the reporters and editors of the Star Tribune are not holding back one bit.

Are you filled with righteous anger about Donald Trump's fascism in the States? Good, but not enough. Now, make it your personal responsibility to ensure Nigel Farage never gets to introduce it here.

If anyone wants to test the water on Farage's plan to have an insurance-based system for health - read these nightmare, and entirely typical, stories from the US.

Good point. Trump has convinced his cult that he is “America First.” He is Trump First - and that means seeking out corrupt leaders around the world to do business with who run the kind of oligarchic regimes that he envies. Nothing he does overseas benefits average Americans.
