Japanese sea captains are only allowed to marry Japanese citizens. This is one of the three major reasons I am not yet a success. Along with, of course, my troublesome uncle who broods in Malta with his confidants, and the bad blood my role in the 2008 financial crash caused.

also everyone who's had a more aged dog (or an injured dog) has had to deal with them doing stuff that we know will hurt them and trying to correct that behaviour - such as trying to get them to stay on their bed for their hips in this instance

it sucks! probably sucks more with people watching!

In almost every election Australians know who won within about 3-4 hours of polls closing. There's generally about 5-10% of seats in doubt going into day 2 of counting. And this is with a more complex counting system.

The issue isn't paper ballots it's resourcing.

I've noticed the opposing team's fans only cheer when the opponents score on us. To win those fans over, I recommend we score on ourselves repeatedly; that will surely make them so happy they'll start supporting us. And I'm sure all our fans will keep cheering for us—who else is there to cheer for?

while i am sure there are good critiques of One Battle After Another, the vast bulk of negative response is coming from either people who think Lockjaw was a hero, or people who have an attention span that verges on negative

The difference between David Pocock and the rest of the Cwth Parliament is that as a professional athlete he was required to appreciate interest conflicts and integrity risks (especially re. gambling).

In Australia the federal level is unique in not doing this: States and Councils must handle risk

Update: he caught it on his collar last night, cried out a few times until I unhooked it, then went straight back to sleep for 10 hours in the same spot
