I have been told by friends who grew up in the Soviet Union that even in the USSR propaganda was not so blatant as what the Trump admin is doing now. This propaganda is more akin to North Korea, and violates multiple laws forbidding partisan politics by government officials.

Well, they’ve been poisoning the minds of the military for years by only playing Fox “News” at the military bases.

Kristi Noem, while governor of South Dakota, supplemented her roughly $130,000 salary by secretly accepting $80,000 donated to a political nonprofit she was affiliated with, records show.

She never disclosed this income on federal ethics forms.

We're spending $20B to bail out Argentina, but they cut USAID down to the bone, causing deaths around the world. The entire budget of USAID, the whole agency, was $21B last year. Shameful.

The Trump administration confirmed that the U.S. bailed out Argentina.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said he had directly bought Argentine pesos in global currency markets in a bid to relieve pressure on the nation’s embattled President Javier Milei, a supporter of President Trump.

It’s hard to overstate how grotesque is the prosecution of Letitia James. I hope John Roberts—who unleashed this malignant, vengeful career criminal on our beloved country—is enjoying Trump’s utter abuse of power and trashing of justice and the rule of law.

What do you call a political system where those in power refuse to seat a duly elected member of the opposition party? Not a democracy that’s for certain.

The tweet says House Republicans are shutting down the House to avoid swearing in Adelita Grijalva, calling it undemocratic and unacceptable. If Trump can do this to Comey and Letitia James, he can do it to anyone. This is authoritarianism. We cannot be silent.

Earlier today, DOJ basically told the judge in the Kilmar Abrego case they were going to blow off the vindictive prosecution claim.

His attorneys responded, fine, then the criminal case must be dismissed.
storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
Ultimately, as the defense explained in its Status Report, to the extent the government
maintains its position that it will not produce the relevant discovery, under a claim of privilege or
otherwise, the government cannot rebut Mr. Abrego’s demonstrated, prima facie case of
vindictiveness, making dismissal of this case the only proper remedy. (Dkt. 146 at 3-4).

Trump is certifiably crazy! None of his claims are even remotely true! Can someone drop him in Portland for a visit? Or does he know he is lying and doesn’t care? I guess as long as his MAGA mob believes…….

Framing it as Trump simply going after his political enemies is misleading because to a fascist every other living person is their political enemy.

You’re his political enemy. You just haven’t been identified yet.
