All of this is true enough as far as it goes. But even more problematic is the fact that when the U.S. Coast Guard interdicts suspect vessels, boarding and searching for drugs, a quarter of the time they find no contraband.

The government is closed because Mike Johnson has abdicated all congressional constitutional powers to King Donny. If the king wanted the government open, it would be open. But he wants it closed to protect himself from the release of the Epstein files and to inflict pain and suffering on Americans.
