A really good thing in this is he shows what a judicial warrant signed by a judge looks like (ICE can enter) AND shows what an ICE warrant looks like (ICE has no right to enter).
Know your rights. Protect your neighbors.

New York is — and always will be — a city for all immigrants.

The main problem is that space telescopes in Low Earth Orbit share the similar orbits as the telecommunication satellites.

Here we show a simplified representation of the increased orbital crowding between 1958 (Sputnik) and the projected satellite population at the end of the next decade.

If you live in Othello you are fairly screwed transit wise tonight. Also no one seems to be delivering alerts but there’s no bus service at Othello tonight. At all.

And then we wonder why people have such a skewed understanding of the world.

The Supreme Court on Friday granted the Trump administration’s emergency appeal to temporarily block a court order to fully fund SNAP food aid payments amid the government shutdown, even though residents in some states already have received the funds.

As a group of young musicians from the Lovett Hines Global Creative Arts Initiative performed John Coltrane compositions, the jazz legend’s son, saxophonist Ravi Coltrane, spoke about his relief at seeing the site rescued from potential destruction.
John Coltrane’s endangered Strawberry Mansion home is finally being restored and revitalized
The jazz legend bought the house at 1511 N. 33rd Street and lived there until 1958. Fires, demolition, and legal troubles have long threatened its survival.

Jane Goodall was one of my heroes too - surely one of the reasons I became a biological anthropologist and studied primate morphology. May her memory be a blessing for the worl.
Jane Goodall was my first childhood hero, as I loved animals as a kid and was inspired by her story. I still remember the National Geographic specials about her. RIP.
