As an oldie (b.1970) who the culture has moved beyond, this feels right
to extend the Marx analogy, anyone over 30 trying to figure out the shooter's "ideology" is like a Habsburg policeman asking whether some revolutionary is Protestant or Catholic. That doesn't make sense any more, man! The ancient and venerable prejudices and opinions have all been swept away!
