Deathtrap (1982) Dir. Sidney Lumet — Reeves goes for a full rebrand and, honestly, nails it. Yes, it still feels a bit stagebound, and yet, the film winds tighter and tighter until it snaps. Clever, tense, and packed with great acting. Nasty fun anchored by great turns from Caine-Reeve-Cannon.🎞️📽️

Ripped a knuckle open turning the key on the back door.
Put a plaster on it.
Blood oozing through plaster.
Which is nice.

I can't handle the cold weather any more. Used to enjoy the frosty crispness of it. But it's too painful now!
Fetching the bins in today at ~7.30am, temp of -1.5C, & my dodgy lungs almost stopped working. And with my bad circulation my hands really feel it too.
Looking forward to spring already...

Just caught up with what I gather was Philip K. Dick’s first published genre story in 1952.
And its remarkable that all the ingredients that defined his work are already here, even the elements of playful whimsy that lighten even the macabre moments.
The bovine-like ‘Wub’ is a remarkable creation.
