The Palestine Action hunger strike is on track to become the largest since the 1981 Irish republican protest led by Bobby Sands, yet campaigners say it has faced a “mainstream media blackout”

So far, seven prisoners have refused food — some for as long as four weeks — with more expected to join

There are now 7 pro-Palestine political prisoners in the British prison system who are on hunger strikes, some for 1 month+. Their health is deteriorating rapidly, but there has been no state response or major media coverage.

We have to ⬆️ the pressure now!!!

As someone who could never support Starmer's Labour after Gaza, a year ago I felt such despair about UK politics.

But now I'm so grateful that we have a real and viable alternative with @zackpolanski.bsky.social's Greens. Thank you!
Why are Labours attacks misfiring?

Because Labour support genocide.

Labour protect the power & wealth of the super rich.

And all they do is attack the Green Party.

Whereas Labour:

- Participated in genocide
- Are trying to remove protection from torture
- Are trying to lock up 2000 people protesting against genocide
- Cut off healthcare for trans children
- Have broken human rights law for disabled people
- Keep trying to remove support for disabled people

Joe, people believe the Greens bc they are not loaded up to their necks in dubious donor cash (unlike Labour, Tories, Reform and to some extent the Lib Dems).
Let's look at your donations. 👇
Oh. I rest my case.

The calls from America this weekend to "abolish the EU" are for one simple reason: the EU is the only thing that can keep European nation-states from becoming Russian or American vassals.
The US has declared rhetorical war on the EU
The calls from America this weekend to destroy the EU are revealing. They hate the union because it's the only thing that can keep European countries from being Russian or American vassals.

If we can do all of that, a fossil fuel ad ban is simple. 👍

Tell your council to lead the way. 👇

Use this tool to write to your local councillor, asking them to adopt policies banning the use of high-carbon advertising, including for fuel-guzzling SUVs, on council-owned ad space.

That has been the cycle throughout history.

Those without substance or the ability to lead have no other tools.

It will continue as long as we allow it.

We have to stay vigilant.
