America, we don't have to agree with each other. But when we speak with one voice, the whole world sits up and listens. If we don't want a king, we're not getting a king. Speak up. One voice. No Kings, no THANK you -- Oct 18th -- look it up. #BetterDems

"We are America. We believe in our democracy and we intend to keep it. We are not afraid of each other. And we are not afraid of you." This is NOT trademarked. SAY IT, ALL OF YOU #BetterDems

whoever it is, we need to hear them EVERY day deploying a top-down STRATEGY that centers our VALUES. We need memos sent to every democrat running for anything. You do your brand, but OUR brand is this: Our tent is America. We choose democracy. Watch us use it to save it. <deploy strategy>

I do love me some AOC but she missed that big boss run against Pelosi's machine and it cost her some momentum. Pete's too cautious but if he started roaring, all the Gavin-curious would flock to him, I think

They're SO overplaying their hand. But is the democratic party prepared? It's a real nail-biter. Would be such a fantastic time for a leader to emerge. I'd rather it not be Gavin, personally. You got a favorite in the right position to step up and start running TODAY, Saikat? I'm pro-Pete, I think

funny is stating a perspective your target is familiar with (science-y paper stuff) then delivering an unexpected twist (in this case, swapping science paper jargon for kid culture-specific jargon). I pronounce your joke "funny" (see, I did judge jargon there?) Mine was mid, though. Yours better

Petition to add Expert Cult Deprogrammer & Brainwashing Prevention Specialist (yes, we'll workshop the title) as a cabinet position when we win power back. Some people are too easy to pull away from reality. That's a failing of our education system to meet the challenge of the social media storm

it's the values-based part that AI can't do .. if it had been rolled out better, creatives would see it as a tool instead of an enemy, but the architects of the whole thing are well, lacking in creativity and not good at using the highest human values to guide their strategies

#enlightenment is realizing you started from zero & you've reached halfway to infinity (by whatever path) & realizing there's still halfway to go & it will always be thus & you're free now to wander, knowing this one thing intuitively & practicing not forgetting in various contexts

Ah, they don't want to save the world. They just want to outcompete. tRump made it easy for them

Better: get vibe checks from people not in your trenches and offer help where teammates need shoring up. Best: vibe check *before* messaging and in consultation with a BIGGER strategy. You can still do YOUR thing but within a context where decreasing polarization, healing division is HIGH priority

#BetterDems ABT = Always be training (your intuitions). You've got a smaller goal to focus on (winning YOUR election), but are so zoomed in you don't notice you're causing problems for your ALLIES? Good: Zoom out frequently, note misalignments and try to be a team player...

#BetterDems Every time you bump against a hard problem, the answer isn't automatically, "I have other priorities." The answer is 1. Zoom out and check your overall goals. Does it make sense to solve, sidestep, or embrace this problem? Then proceed. Maybe you were right the first time but CHECK

resource you can identify. Sell "Pennsylvanians for America" hats that signify willingness to have pleasant debates. Business people know how to solve problems -- break it down, take a wide perspective, strategize, focus on little bits at a time, get flexible on execution, stay values-aligned

You may not have all the answers YET but...you can figure out how to figure it out. Unlock your creativity and go ask people, "What qualities do you like in a judge?", then go market the judges you have based on the qualities their track records demonstrate. Strategize EVERY piece and use every...

adjust, repeat until you find the optimal messages in general, for specific places, for specific people. (creative like "if a family member of yours was in legal trouble, would you want a judge who doesn't believe in something as obvious as climate change to decide their fate?")
dawookie.bsky.social
@BetterDems I read an article that said you weren't sure how to talk to voters about judges. This is great messaging in terms of clarity. Develop a wider strategy by asking creative questions in polling and on the doors so you can see how various arguments land with people -- take feedback,

The Wizard of this Oz is just MAGA doing "YOU STOLE THIS ELECTION" call and forcing Democrats to respond, "Nuh uh! We're the RULES GUYS," so hard that it becomes easier to steal the next election in a bajillion ways (theoretically, but seeming more factually correct by the day)

YES, AND her baby is statistically far more likely to be healthy than a baby with a mother who listens to *anything* RFK Jr says

Honestly, I'm more worried about everything the Epstein Files are a distraction from than I am curious about what's in the files themselves. The misdirect feels like a misdirection and yes, do keep up the pressure, & also, do NOT fall for this either. Don't be vigilant -- keep your perspective wide

Prioritizing stabilizing the climate system unlocks the time we'll need to figure out solutions to OTHER problems, but until all leaders start learning to take a holistic perspective that can zoom out to include the ENTIRE planet w/out getting lost, we'll get small leaders w/ small priorities
dawookie.bsky.social
so they're sticking to the core issues they know how to handle. Until they level up on persuasion techniques and big-picture strategizing, "I think it's real" is going to be the best answer you can hope for in terms of messaging AND policies if they win.
