That didn't take long. Received my first mailer against the CA redistricting initiative today, before the state senate even voted on it. Paid for by Charles Munger, of course, because he's very concerned about having the voice of the common person protected against overreaching elites.
At most, California could add nine. Assuming the crazy plan to do so works, which is far from guaranteed.
Billionaires with no political experience have such a great track record of winning statewide office here in California in the last 30 years. I'm sure he'll do super well.
Wired, Rolling Stone, and Teen Vogue aren't afraid of getting banned from the WH, POTUS events, AFO, or executive branch press rooms because they were never there in the first place.

Outlets whose bread and butter is the ins and outs of daily reporting are very much afraid of those bans.
That site is a nice idea. But until there's a way to read on an e-ink device, it's a nonstarter for me. I read blog posts and short articles on my phone -- not books.

If there was a way to filter the books they have without DRM, I'd buy those there, but as far as I can tell, there isn't.
I love Miracle unashamedly, and he was great in it.

But Executive Decision is one of my favorite bad movies.
Crimson Tide. Keep the big guy from OG Law & Order who plays chief of the boat. (I forget his name but it sounds like you're sneezing.)
A professional baseball player almost passed out today.
. . .replace stuff slowly instead of all at once, start looking for sales of whatever you want to buy. I think I'm finally going to bite the bullet and get #Phillips. I know it's expensive but I'm tired of screwing around with shitty companies. #sengledoutage #smarthome
Rinse and repeat! If you don't already have the Sengled skill enabled in Alexa, you should add it first.

This should work for now. But I will caution that if Sengled is really kaput, eventually the skill will die and this workaround may not work either. So if you'd rather . . . 5/
If your bulb was already in the Alexa app because you had the Sengled hub connected, go ahead and delete that version of the bulb. 4/
Once it's paired, Alexa will tell you and give the bulb a generic name. In the Alexa app, you can rename it, add it to groups, whatever. 3/
... put it in pairing mode. It should flash three times. Then say "Alexa, discover devices." It will tell you it's looking and in the next 20-30 seconds your light should flash. 2/
If you're using #sengled bulbs that connect to their hub, you can get around the outage by connecting them to another device with a #zigbee hub, like #smartthings or some #Alexa hardware.

For Alexa devices, turn on your bulb and flip the switch 10 times to reset the bulb and... 1/
Hello, searchers! It's definitely everyone. There's a huge thread on /r/smarthome about it:

If you are using a zigbee bulb on a sengled hub, you can connect it to another zigbee hub, like certain Alexa models or Smartthings.

Okay. Sorry it's you too, but I'm also glad it's not just me!

I sent a message to support, for all the good it will do. I got the hub because the Sengled bulbs glitched when using Alexa as a hub, but I'm considering switching back...

I feel so bad for the creatives on this show. Season 1 was a SMASH, but season 2 didn't drop for 2 whole years. Streamers have to realize this is not sustainable. These 18 month - 2 year gaps between seasons kills audiences' enthusiasm no matter how much they love it.

You can't go to/file in federal court just because you want to. The overwhelming majority of cases, both civil and criminal, are litigated in #statecourts. #legalsky
What is common knowledge in your field, but shocks outsiders?

Author advances are paid *against royalties* and you have to earn out - make more than your advance - in order to get royalties

In other words, an advance is actually a loan, they aren't REALLY paying you at all

Almost all of the bugs and problems and breakage in the software you use is known to the engineers, we just aren't allowed to fix it. Gotta ship new features.
Already hundreds (maybe more?) in #LagunaBeach #CA where this was called for noon! If you're in the area come on down. #OrangeCounty. Park in lot 16 and take the trolley.
This was genuinely a good book. Juliet Parrish was one of the first female sci-fi heroes I was exposed to, and she was more interesting in this book than in the miniseries. Which I also liked very much.
I have some choice things to say about Antonio Villaraigosa, including "incompetent," "self-aggrandizing," "shameless self-promoter" and "my dumbest cat would make a better governor."

(My cat has very fine qualities. But he is pretty dumb.)
