On this day in 1969 Al Pacino and Jill Clayburgh made their first ever screen appeareance on the short lived cop drama N.Y.P.D. The show was never released on home video and can only be found in low quality bootleg copies, this particular episode can be seen on Youtube.

This bizarre American Ninja-esque sequel to Cronenberg’s Scanners is making me wonder what if Christian Duguay made similar sequels to other Cronenberg films. Can you imagine if he got his hands on The Brood?!? Fuckin’ ninja mutant babies on BMX bikes terrorizing Toronto! Oliver Reed with a laser!

People say you shouldn’t name search yourself and they’re right. Don’t name search yourself…from your main account. Switch to an alt so you can see what people are saying about you behind blocks.

To a great extent "Hollywood" is now Netflix, Apple, and Prime. The handling of something like WOLFS seems to suit their objectives fine. Pity.

WORST movie experience?
showed Debbie Does Dallas as part of the film group and the cops came and tried to get the movie stopped b/c the movie violated local obscenity laws and i barricaded the door until the movie was over, called the ACLU and then surrendered-arrested, charges dropped next day
What’s everyone’s WORST movie experience? Mine is the time a guy came into a half-full theater late, sat down right in front of another guy, swore at him for “kicking his seat,” wouldn’t move to one of the many seats not in front of anyone, and finally pulled a gun on him and screamed “I’M A COP!”

My first impression is it's kind of like Twitter from about 15 years ago (not a bad thing). I'm sure I'll notice differences as things go along ...been here less than 24 hours.

Day 5: REC

REC is very likely the scariest, most high octane found footage horror film ever made. It's visceral, it's fast, and it's mean. REC's reputation is well earned and it's a must watch for any horror fan
