Valve has now rejected my complaint, confirming that "I don't like muslims" is a valid reason to leave a negative review on a game on Steam

This is where we're at now.

Israel hunted a 70 year old lady down with a gun drone and then hoovered above to make sure she bled out next to her dying son. They both join almost 1,000 Palestinians Israel has massacred or maimed in its genocide during the "ceasefire".

Looked at the list of games I wanted to finish before the year is over then opened up BG3 for my Durge run, so I guess it's to the 2026 pile these go.

No one gave my mom a chance to come up with any savings for retirement - she was diagnosed with Schizophrenia before I was born. Dementia turned it all into a nightmare. TX next of kin means I can make her medical decisions, but my hands are often still tied unless I pay ~10k to be her guardian.

America’s refusal to accept chiropractic as pseudoscience gives it legitimacy online. My theory is that (like homeopathy in India), the govt realised healthcare provision is so poor for the average citizen, they knowingly ratify a secondary shadow health system that doesn’t work to pretend they care
AARRGH. CHIROPRACTIC IS NOT MEDICINE, IT’S DANGEROUS BULLSHIT CREATED BY A FUCKING GROCER WHO THOUGHT HE COULD HEAL WITH MAGNETS. WHAT THE FUCK, AMERICA
Oh good, they left Chiropractors as professionals but not Nurses, NPs, PA’s or physical therapists

That’s infuriating

Years ago, I thought I would be able to find evidence in Mississippi's own records of how it jailed some civil commitment patients for weeks or months (not 72 hours), but learned there's no record kept of that. It took a DOJ investigation in 2011 to get them to start doing that *this year.*
At least 46 people have died in Mississippi’s county jails since 2020, according to lawsuits, news reports and law enforcement records reviewed by The Marshall Project - Jackson. But those lost lives do not appear in any official statistics or records.
Why No One Knows How Many People Die in Mississippi’s Jails
Mississippi has long failed to count and report all deaths in local jails that serve the state’s 82 counties, despite a federal requirement to do so.
