I snorted obnoxiously at this.
As an Ancient Millennial Swiftie, you took words right from my mouth.

Recently diagnosed with multiple immunocompromised issues as an elementary teacher ... and wearing a mask again feels powerful. My 9yo students understand why I do it: why can't adults?

No one is expendable.
Wearing a mask is an act of resistance.

Protecting your health and the health of those around you is community care.

It tells those in power you won’t leave anyone behind.

It says you don’t believe anyone is expendable.

It can also protect against chemical munitions & other threats!

Living as an educator in the downfall of a civilization is deeply challenging.

I'm purposefully throwing myself into autumn & asking for help.

When does 2025 College Football Season actually begin?
Where is a team-based, sortable schedule?
Which streaming services offer the most games?

I'm a PAC-2 follower but interested in ALL games. #CFB @osubeaversnews.bsky.social

I'm anxious to share this ... but it seems to be working for this educator. @finchwing.bsky.social clearly has research to support caretaking as therapy.

I'm going to have to concentrate on Room 8 to pull me back to why I'm here.

As an educator, I feel lost.

As we approach the inauguration, I'll be in denial & the next minute I'll be furious. Next, I'll find myself just sad, hoping something will change it.

The 2nd graph definitely shows my journey since the election. Each day brings something new.

If you're feeling that too, I'm sending love & light.

Yes, today I felt mostly okay. Off to do some bedtime yoga in hopes of sleeping soon.

One more day. Relish it.

"Well of course bibliometric analysis makes logical sense," but is never something I've thought about until today. My teacher-brain added this concept to my list. Wonder if I could use it in grading essays outside of "use of vocabulary words."
