Hoy queremos denunciar las actividades y malas prácticas que ha realizado Gisela Vaquero (Jellyworld Games) impunemente durante años. Malas prácticas laborales, falsos autónomos, abuso de alumnado en prácticas, impagos a profesionales, y uso del material sin tener los derechos.
Hoy venimos a denunciar y a advertir sobre la mala práxis laboral y asociativa promovida por Gisela Vaquero, fundadora de la asociación Women In Games España, y que también desarrolla videojuegos bajo el rótulo JellyWorld, que no consta como sociedad registrada. El modus operandi de Gisela consiste en sacar proyectos sólo contratando a autónomas o a alumnado en prácticas no remuneradas. En todos esos casos, las personas afectadas declaran un ambiente hostil de trabajo, mentiras constante, e intentos de envenenar a la plantilla entre sí. También se imponen horarios fijos para las personas autónomas, jornadas abusivas, y la ausencia de tutorización para el alumnado en prácticas, quedando todo ello fuera de la legalidad. Gisela tiene un gran historial de impago a los profesionales a los que contrata para sus proyectos. En concreto, hasta 5 personas nos han contactado para denunciar que les debe dinero a día de hoy, superando en total los 8000€, y varias personas más denuncian numerosos meses de retraso en los pagos, sin que se abonen intereses de demora. Las personas afectadas denuncian que da largas con los pagos, o incluso bloquea repentinamente de todo medio de comunicación para no afrontar la deuda. Hay incluso procesos judiciales abiertos respecto a esta cuestión. En relación con lo anterior, esto supone una violación de los derechos de autoría, ya que Gisela está exponiendo en diferentes ferias y publicando los productos (o demos) que contienen material encargado a autónomos que no han recibido su pago, y que no han firmado cesión de derechos de explotación alguna. También se denuncia que Gisela hace peticiones de falsear fechas de facturas, dividir facturas en varias para que caigan en distintos periodos de facturación, admitiendo incluso en los mensajes que lo necesita de tal manera para poder aportarlas para recibir subvenciones. Continuando con las subvenciones, constan hasta 3 subvenciones públicas recibidas por Gisela, incluyendo proyectos en los que continúa debiendo dinero a profesionales que trabajaron en ellos. El total la suma subvencionada asciende hasta casi los 38,000€ Como se ha mencionado al inicio de este comunicado, Gisela es la presidenta y fundadora de Women In Games España, asociación de carácter feminista, solo para mujeres y registrada y definida como sin ánimo de lucro, que se constituyó en enero de 2018. Sin embargo, llevaba desde el año anterior, 2017, solicitando dinero a través de talleres, donaciones y eventos; lo cual es bastante irregular. Por otra parte, Women In Games es oficialmente una organización internacional con sede en Reino Unido y con filiales en diferentes países europeos. Gisela registró y utilizó el nombre sin su consentimiento ni ser embajadora de la entidad principal en España, lo cual nos ha confirmado directamente la propia organización de Women In Games tras ser contactada por esta coordinadora.
